This multi-purpose custom Power Cat caters for family cruising, liveaboards and serious fishing and dive trips, packed with impressive features, offshore capabilities & quality craftsmanship.

With a beam of 5.1m and an overall length of 15.5m, Samahani provides a big platform from which to create the ultimate boating adventure. From the Bay of Islands to the Sounds this has been a go anywhere well ‘oiled’ machine!

With her cleverly designed alloy hulls, Samahani finds the plane at approx. 12kts with 1800rpm on the engines. She typically cruises at 20-22kts at 2300rpm with each engine using around 47L p/h. This gives Samahani a comfortable range of about 450 miles. For those with a passion for game fishing you could expect up to a 10 hour day trolling at 9kts and burning approx. 140L!

A very versatile layout amongst three cabins and two forward quarter berths, there is the added potential of the U-shape dinette and the flybridge couch to accommodate no fewer than 10 guests overnight comfortably. The stability of twin hulls also provides opportunities to create open-plan living spaces that would not be so practical on a mono-hull.

A very open and light saloon amidships that incorporates a domestic size galley to port and a U-shaped dinette to starboard gives you fantastic views through 180 degrees. Hand crafted from solid Rimu timbers and veneers. Carpeted and lined throughout (New 2023), with leather upholstery and vinyl ceiling provides a traditional and warm ambience.

Everyone gravitates to the flybridge while underway because it provides plenty of seating and uninterrupted views. The fully enclosed flybridge can be accessed easily and safely from the spiral staircase in the cockpit as well as interior stairs amidships of the saloon. The helm is set to starboard and offers fantastic visibility. The bridge is well laid out and equipped, with all controls and switches in easy reach of the skipper.

Stately and large, the cockpit on Samahani is a statement in design with its curved transom and double gate doors, wide Tek-Dek lined combings and sole with the option of a centrally mounted game chair. Those passionate for fishing and diving have been catered for with huge live bait tanks recessed into the transom, tuna pots, bait station, remote game poles, dive compressor, dive bottle storage, salt & fresh water washdowns and a large external freezer. The cockpit docking station provides a useful back-up when reversing into berths with cleats in close reach to make docking hassle free.

Walk around side decks with high railings offer safe access to the large foredeck. Tender operations are made simple with the deck mounted manual davit onboard.
